Viktor Glushkin came out of the goal and Aleksey Timofeev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viktor Glushkin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timofey Frolov in the 16th minute. Fedor Koshelev's late challenge caught a Nizhny Novgorod's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fedor Koshelev helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Leninsk-Kuznetsky getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Fedor Koshelev hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Leninsk-Kuznetsky:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nizhny Novgorod:s goal. Viktor Glushkin had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Egor Evgenev's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 26 minutes Leninsk-Kuznetsky's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Egor Evgenev who took care of the corner kick. Artur Golubev kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Danila Frolov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aleksey Timofeev came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Nizhny Novgorod fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleksey Timofeev couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the match, Leninsk-Kuznetsky's goalkeeper Viktor Glushkin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aleksey Timofeev. After 37 played minutes Timofey Frolov rounded Leninsk-Kuznetsky's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Timofey Frolov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Glushkin having to interfere. The supporters of Nizhny Novgorod booed when Leninsk-Kuznetsky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Tsukernik didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egor Bogin was the one to do the kick off. Leninsk-Kuznetsky's Viktor Glushkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Krylov in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Dmitriy Timonin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nizhny Novgorod's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leninsk-Kuznetsky the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Dmitriy Timonin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aleksey Timofeev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktor Glushkin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Viktor Glushkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksey Timofeev in the 56th minute of the match. Viktor Glushkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timofey Frolov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timofey Frolov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Glushkin having to interfere. If Aleksey Timofeev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leninsk-Kuznetsky's Egor Bogin in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nizhny Novgorod's goalie prevented a goal. 75 minutes into the game, Eduard Broshin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nizhny Novgorod's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leninsk-Kuznetsky the free kick. Eduard Broshin kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Aleksey Timofeev notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Leninsk-Kuznetsky's Viktor Glushkin. Viktor Glushkin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timofey Frolov in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viktor Glushkin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute, Fedot Maltsev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90thth minute of the game Timofey Frolov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leninsk-Kuznetsky's Viktor Glushkin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Viktor Glushkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timofey Frolov, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Viktor Glushkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksey Timofeev in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Nizhny Novgorod players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
