Egor Bogin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruslan Chepelevskiy having to interfere. Viktor Glushkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gleb Cherehovskiy in the 12th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Fedor Koshelev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leninsk-Kuznetsky's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fedor Koshelev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viktor Glushkin came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Kursk FC's Gleb Cherehovskiy. But to his dismay, Gleb Cherehovskiy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 35 minutes into the game, Igor Ermenev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Viktor Glushkin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the match, Kursk FC's Gleb Cherehovskiy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viktor Glushkin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Kursk FC defense, Danila Frolov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruslan Chepelevskiy. The Kursk FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruslan Chepelevskiy should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gleb Cherehovskiy was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Danila Frolov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruslan Chepelevskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kursk FC's Ruslan Chepelevskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egor Bogin in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Leninsk-Kuznetsky defense, Igor Ermenev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viktor Glushkin. The Leninsk-Kuznetsky fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viktor Glushkin should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute, Fedot Maltsev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute Gleb Cherehovskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Glushkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruslan Chepelevskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danila Frolov, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ruslan Chepelevskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egor Bogin in the 76th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Kursk FC's Viktor Glushkin threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gleb Cherehovskiy, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Andrey Soloviev fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leninsk-Kuznetsky's protests and gave Andrey Soloviev a yellow card for diving instead. Andrey Soloviev hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Viktor Glushkin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Ermenev in the 80th minute. The supporters of Kursk FC booed when Leninsk-Kuznetsky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedor Koshelev didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Egor Bogin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Ruslan Chepelevskiy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Ermenev got free with Viktor Glushkin in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute Gleb Cherehovskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Glushkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Kursk FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Leninsk-Kuznetsky from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
