When Mikhail Kazachenok fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Odintsovo FC's protests and gave Mikhail Kazachenok a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Odintsovo FC got a freekick which was hit by Mikhail Kazachenok. Konstantin Zykov hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Odintsovo FC's Anton Kormilin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Odintsovo FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniil Bondarev in the 11th minute of play forced Shahty FC's goalkeeper Fedor Bobikov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonid Traktirnyi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Leonid Traktirnyi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Odintsovo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonid Traktirnyi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fedor Bobikov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, Leonid Traktirnyi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fedor Bobikov. Shahty FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonid Traktirnyi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 23 minutes into the game, Leonid Traktirnyi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fedor Bobikov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th minute, Daniil Bondarev made a precise shot to the right of Fedor Bobikov. Shahty FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonid Traktirnyi in the 29th minute of play forced Shahty FC's goalkeeper Fedor Bobikov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Odintsovo FC's goalkeeper Anton Kormilin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikhail Govyadin. Anton Kormilin made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Mikhail Govyadin sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute Leonid Traktirnyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedor Bobikov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Leonid Traktirnyi made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Shahty FC's Fedor Bobikov got control of the ball when Daniil Bondarev tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Shahty FC's Mikhail Govyadin in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Odintsovo FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Odintsovo FC's Vasiliy Bardzilovskiy got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes, Shahty FC's Leonid Dovlatov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anton Kormilin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Shahty FC reached it. 63 minutes into the match, Shahty FC's goalkeeper Fedor Bobikov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniil Bondarev. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikhail Govyadin in the 66th minute of play forced Odintsovo FC's goalkeeper Anton Kormilin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Shahty FC booed when Odintsovo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasiliy Bardzilovskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Oleg Kuskov notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Odintsovo FC's Anton Kormilin. Anton Kormilin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aleksandr Grigoriev hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Mikhail Govyadin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Kormilin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oleg Kuskov went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. If Daniil Bondarev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th match minute, Shahty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkhip Zamyatin to maneuver through the defense. Silantiy Fet, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
