In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balashikha's goalkeeper Mikhail Bazilevich, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 6 played minutes Balashikha got a freekick which was hit by Stanislav Shishlov. Viktor Sadosin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Ussuriysk's Viktor Bondarev got control of the ball when Emmanuil Abramchuk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viktor Bondarev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Uhabin in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Ussuriysk's Viktor Sadosin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikhail Bazilevich narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Balashikha's Mikhail Bazilevich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borislav Ugnevenko in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Viktor Sadosin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ussuriysk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktor Sadosin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filimon Pigunov got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 40 played minutes Ussuriysk got a freekick which was hit by Filimon Pigunov. Emmanuil Abramchuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ussuriysk were furious when Valeriy Kopylov was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If Emmanuil Abramchuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boris Muranov hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Balashikha's Albert Luppov couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ussuriysk. Yakov Borisov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mikhail Bazilevich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yakov Borisov hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ussuriysk's goalkeeper Viktor Bondarev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Viktor Bondarev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emmanuil Abramchuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Pavel Uhabin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Bondarev having to interfere. Balashikha's Emmanuil Abramchuk got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pavel Uhabin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 89 minutes, Emmanuil Abramchuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balashikha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emmanuil Abramchuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Balashikha fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Balashikha's Pavel Uhabin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Balashikha's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
