After a rather tough play, Kamensk-Uralsky FC's Vsevolod Pereslavtsev got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marat Abrasimov in the 23rd minute of play forced Kamensk-Uralsky FC's goalkeeper Georgiy Ignashevich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Irkutsk's goalkeeper Viktor Dvorzhetskiy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 30 minutes of play, Irkutsk's Modest Golovatskiy made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Georgiy Ignashevich was left in no man's land by his defense there! In a very dangerous position, a player in Irkutsk fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! After having played for 41 minutes, Modest Golovatskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Irkutsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modest Golovatskiy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marat Abrasimov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Georgiy Ignashevich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marat Abrasimov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modest Golovatskiy scored 1-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Georgiy Ignashevich, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Modest Golovatskiy to make the kick off. After 55 minutes, Kirill Polevitskiy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kamensk-Uralsky FC and the Irkutsk players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Georgiy Ignashevich, was totally fooled by Irkutsk's Nikita Kudryashov, who 56 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a little luck, Kamensk-Uralsky FC's Georgiy Ignashevich got control of the ball when Marat Abrasimov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute, Ruslan Gaguliya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marat Abrasimovs short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Georgiy Ignashevich to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Modest Golovatskiy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marat Abrasimov might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Georgiy Ignashevich. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marat Abrasimov ran back to his position shaking his head. Georgiy Ignashevich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Modest Golovatskiy's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Modest Golovatskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georgiy Ignashevich having to interfere. Georgiy Ignashevich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modest Golovatskiy in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute, Gennadiy Toktakhunov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nikolay Medvedev kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Gennadiy Toktakhunov might have been able to make a better finish in the 101st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viktor Dvorzhetskiy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gennadiy Toktakhunov ran back to his position shaking his head.
