In the 4th minute, Denis Vorozhbitov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kurgan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Denis Vorozhbitov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Moskatinev having to interfere. If Denis Vorozhbitov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kirill Matveev hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Kurgan's goalkeeper Oleg Karnaukhov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikhail Sotnik. The supporters of Kurgan booed when Kansk HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kirill Matveev didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kurgan's Denis Vorozhbitov in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kansk HC's goalie prevented a goal. Mikhail Sotnik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Irakliy Kalinskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikhail Sotnik struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Oleg Karnaukhov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kansk HC. Aleksey Gavrilenko hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Irakliy Kalinskiy made a kick off. After 55 played minutes Kansk HC got a freekick which was hit by Arkadiy Kolesnikov. With a little luck, Kansk HC's Ivan Moskatinev got control of the ball when Maksim Samygin tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Kansk HC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Kirill Matveev hit a great ball. If Denis Vorozhbitov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evgeniy Bulgak lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kansk HC! Ostap Neprin placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 70 minutes into the match, Kansk HC's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Vorozhbitov came free, but Ivan Moskatinev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Moskatinev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksey Gavrilenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Denis Vorozhbitov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kansk HC's Mikhail Sotnik got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Askold Vasyuhin charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Askold Vasyuhin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kurgan getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Askold Vasyuhin hit a great ball. Mikhail Sotnik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Oleg Karnaukhov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oleg Karnaukhov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Minaev in the 93rd minute of play. Mikhail Sotnik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Kansk HC's Kirill Matveev got a free kick in the 100th minute. In the 100th minute, Ostap Neprin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kansk HC's Ivan Moskatinev didn't even have to move. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kurgan walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
