Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Shchelkovo's Ivan Yakubovich started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andrey Magidov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stanislav Kalachev hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 9th match minute, Novorossiysk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veniamin Charnovskiy to maneuver through the defense. If Vitold Yatsko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Aleksey Yakhontov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Silvestr Kolotilin came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Novorossiysk's Klim Bichevskiy. But to his dismay, Klim Bichevskiy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Valentin Emelyanov kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Vitold Yatsko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Aleksey Yakhontov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitold Yatsko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksey Yakhontov having to interfere. In the 39th minute Ivan Yakubovich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksey Yakhontov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitold Yatsko struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Aleksey Yakhontov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shchelkovo. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ivan Yakubovich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shchelkovo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Yakubovich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aleksey Yakhontov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Klim Bichevskiy scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvestr Kolotilin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Klim Bichevskiy was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Novorossiysk getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Yuliy Korovin hit a great ball. Aleksey Yakhontov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitold Yatsko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aleksey Yakhontov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Yakubovich went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitold Yatsko in the 70th minute of play forced Novorossiysk's goalkeeper Aleksey Yakhontov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shchelkovo's Ivan Yakubovich got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Yuliy Korovin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes, Shchelkovo's Aleksandr Pyatnitskiy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aleksey Yakhontov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Shchelkovo reached it. The supporters of Shchelkovo booed when Novorossiysk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Korshunov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Klim Bichevskiy fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Silvestr Kolotilin, passed just outside the right post. 81 minutes into the match, Ivan Yakubovich had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aleksey Yakhontov. Novorossiysk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Yakubovich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Vitold Yatsko might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aleksey Yakhontov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitold Yatsko ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the game, Ivan Yakubovich cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Aleksey Yakhontov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Yakubovich in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aleksey Yakhontov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pavel Suhinin hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Silvestr Kolotilin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrey Magidov in the 93rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Shchelkovo had won after a very even match.
