An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Foma Almut got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 36 minutes into the match, Barnaul FC's Foma Almut sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrey Nikitin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kirill Sokolov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kirill Sokolov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Porfiriy Prilutskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrey Nikitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Foma Almut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Porfiriy Prilutskiy in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrey Nikitin saved Serpukhov FC from getting behind. In the 74thth minute of the game Foma Almut who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Serpukhov FC's Andrey Nikitin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Foma Almut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Foma Almut might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrey Nikitin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Foma Almut ran back to his position shaking his head. If Porfiriy Prilutskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Eduard Vihrov notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Serpukhov FC's Andrey Nikitin. Andrey Nikitin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Foma Almut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute.
