Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anton Smertin started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Maksim Kalinka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dmitriy Borisovskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dmitriy Borisovskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evgeniy Gorbunov in the 8th minute of the match. Aleksey Averchenkov hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Ekaterinburg's Ivan Korchemkin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Khasavyurt. In the 14thth minute of the game Valeryan Liberzon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Khasavyurt's Dmitriy Borisovskiy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Evgeniy Gorbunov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evgeniy Gorbunov might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dmitriy Borisovskiy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evgeniy Gorbunov ran back to his position shaking his head. Anatoliy Stakhovskiy charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anatoliy Stakhovskiy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, Khasavyurt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anatoliy Stakhovskiy to maneuver through the defense. Dmitriy Borisovskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeryan Liberzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anatoliy Stakhovskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egor Belyakov having to interfere. Anton Smertin's late challenge caught a Ekaterinburg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Smertin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Khasavyurt getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Anton Smertin hit a great ball. If Ivan Cheremuhin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Anatoliy Stakhovskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 46 minutes, Anatoliy Stakhovskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Khasavyurt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anatoliy Stakhovskiy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Ivan Cheremuhin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Egor Belyakov, passed just outside the right post. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evgeniy Gorbunov to make the kick off. If Anton Smertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anatoliy Stakhovskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Evgeniy Gorbunov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ekaterinburg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dmitriy Borisovskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evgeniy Gorbunov, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 75th match minute, Khasavyurt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vadim Gorlukovich to maneuver through the defense. When Valeryan Liberzon came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ekaterinburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valeryan Liberzon couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evgeniy Gorbunov in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dmitriy Borisovskiy saved Khasavyurt from getting behind. Valeryan Liberzon took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dmitriy Borisovskiy. Dmitriy Borisovskiy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ivan Cheremuhin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Egor Belyakov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anton Smertin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evgeniy Gorbunov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Dmitriy Borisovskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Ekaterinburg were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Khasavyurt side.
