Askold Gilinskiy hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Stepan Antoshevskiy sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Arkhangelsk's Vadim Mashentsev didn't even have to move. Vitaliy Telpugov hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Grits in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vadim Mashentsev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute, Lev Kopylov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The attack was good, but when Daniil Safonov in the 21st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Rostislav Kulakov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lev Kopylov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. shvonderShukher's Rostislav Kulakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lev Kopylov in the 26th minute of play. Vadim Mashentsev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Grits, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 31 minutes, Vladislav Agranov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the shvonderShukher and the Arkhangelsk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vladislav Agranov hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Vadim Mashentsev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Grits in the 36th minute of play. Igor Grits fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vadim Mashentsev having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lev Kopylov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Arkhangelsk's Lev Kopylov in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Vyacheslav Odintsov came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the shvonderShukher fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vyacheslav Odintsov couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lev Kopylov in the 70th minute of play forced shvonderShukher's goalkeeper Rostislav Kulakov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Grits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the last second Vadim Mashentsev throw himself and got hold of the ball when Igor Grits in the 74thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. shvonderShukher's Igor Grits got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vyacheslav Odintsov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vyacheslav Odintsov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Vadim Mashentsev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vyacheslav Odintsov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vadim Mashentsev having to interfere. Vyacheslav Odintsovs short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Vadim Mashentsev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
