The audience was convinced that Ilya Topilskiy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerasim Babkin was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Gerasim Babkin made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Viktor Kvyat sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aleksey Afinogenov made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FC Roma's goalkeeper Arseniy Kostikov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orest Suvorov. FK 3LEMENT's Gerasim Babkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Kvyat in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st minute Viktor Kvyat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerasim Babkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
