Kemerovo FC's Vladislav Silin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Kemerovo FC from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the match, Kemerovo FC's goalkeeper Vladislav Silin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladislav Melihan. Danil Maslov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Sergey Ivantsov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Stepan Boyarintsev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kemerovo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Vyacheslav Pestov kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Stepan Boyarintsev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergey Ivantsov having to make a save. In the 21st minute, Danil Maslov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sergey Ivantsov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stepan Boyarintsev, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Stepan Boyarintsev came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Kemerovo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stepan Boyarintsev couldn't finish the play. Sergey Ivantsov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stepan Boyarintsev's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Sergey Ivantsov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stepan Boyarintsev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladislav Silin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksey Derevschikov in the 42nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Kemerovo FC's Vladislav Silin got control of the ball when Vladislav Melihan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Kostroma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stepan Boyarintsev came free, but Sergey Ivantsov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kostroma FC's Sergey Gavrilov got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Sergey Gavrilov off the ground. The Kostroma FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kemerovo FC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stepan Boyarintsev made a kick off. Vyacheslav Pestov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Viktor Lifar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, Aleksey Derevschikov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kostroma FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kemerovo FC the free kick. The supporters of Kemerovo FC booed when Kostroma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksey Derevschikov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Danil Maslov notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Kostroma FC's Sergey Ivantsov. Sergey Ivantsov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sergey Ivantsov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stepan Boyarintsev in the 80th minute of play.
