Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when David Petunin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vadim Komissarov came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Анжи Махачкала's Konstantin Baklagin. But to his dismay, Konstantin Baklagin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Vikentiy Luzyanin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Belousov in the 7th minute. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Roman Belousov got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 14 played minutes ФК Алексин got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Vlasov. Vadim Komissarov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantin Baklagin in the 17th minute of play. Konstantin Baklagin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Vadim Komissarov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ФК Алексин's zone, David Petunin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vadim Komissarov came out of the goal and David Petunin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albert Abashev kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, ФК Алексин's goal looked a bit too open when David Petunin came free, but Vadim Komissarov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Konstantin Baklagin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Innokentiy Bragin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ФК Алексин booed when Анжи Махачкала was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oleg Golland didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Konstantin Baklagin came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Анжи Махачкала fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konstantin Baklagin couldn't finish the play. David Petunin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Vadim Komissarov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ФК Алексин's Vadim Komissarov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save ФК Алексин from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Innokentiy Bragin in the 66th minute of play forced Анжи Махачкала's goalkeeper Vikentiy Luzyanin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, ФК Алексин's Vadim Komissarov got control of the ball when Konstantin Baklagin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vikentiy Luzyanin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filimon Krivko, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ФК Алексин's goalkeeper Vadim Komissarov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to ФК Алексин getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Roman Belousov hit a great ball. After having played for 82 minutes, David Petunin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Анжи Махачкала's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Petunin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in ФК Алексин's zone, David Petunin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vadim Komissarov came out of the goal and David Petunin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Анжи Махачкала's David Petunin in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ФК Алексин's goalie prevented a goal. In the 94th minute, ФК Алексин's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after David Petunin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vikentiy Luzyanin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Innokentiy Bragin, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the match was over Анжи Махачкала could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ФК Алексин throughout the match.
