Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vadim Nozhkin kicked off to start the match. German Bobrov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dmitriy Grushenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Taras Lobanovskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klim Glavchev during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Syzran booed when Volgodonsk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klim Glavchev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes Syzran got a freekick which was hit by Semen Belyakov. Egor Shurygin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If German Bobrov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vadim Nozhkin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladislav Chudnovskiy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vadim Nozhkin in the 25th minute of play forced Volgodonsk FC's goalkeeper Vladislav Chudnovskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Syzran's zone, Dmitriy Grushenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taras Lobanovskiy came out of the goal and Dmitriy Grushenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Taras Lobanovskiy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from German Bobrov went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Taras Lobanovskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dmitriy Grushenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th play minute Egor Shurygin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vladislav Chudnovskiy. 1-1. In the 43rd minute, one of Volgodonsk FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Volgodonsk FC.
Leonid Astronomov kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. German Bobrov struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Taras Lobanovskiy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Volgodonsk FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dmitriy Grushenko in the 63rd minute of play forced Syzran's goalkeeper Taras Lobanovskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladislav Chudnovskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egor Shurygin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Timofey Boyarinov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute of the match Danila Dolmatov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vladislav Chudnovskiy skillfully saved the ball. Vadim Nozhkin took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladislav Chudnovskiy. Vladislav Chudnovskiy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The audience was convinced that German Bobrov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Taras Lobanovskiy was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 83rd match minute, Volgodonsk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klim Glavchev to maneuver through the defense. If Egor Shurygin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Syzran's Vadim Nozhkin got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Volgodonsk FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Syzran.
