Chita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GaLaxy FC the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Chita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Bukalov to maneuver through the defense. Chita's Valeriy Nazarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergey Pashenin in the 8th minute of play. Oleg Markov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipp Basalaev having to interfere. Oleg Markov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filipp Basalaev having to make a save. 20 minutes into the match, Chita's goal looked a bit too open when Sergey Pashenin came free, but Valeriy Nazarov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oleg Markov in the 21st minute of play forced GaLaxy FC's goalkeeper Filipp Basalaev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Oleg Markov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filipp Basalaev was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mikhail Astashenkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Vadim Leonidov managed to get in a good position for a shot. GaLaxy FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vadim Leonidov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valeriy Nazarov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mikhail Astashenkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 59th match minute, GaLaxy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikolay Blakhin to maneuver through the defense. The corner led to Chita's Nikolay Duhinskiy getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Albert Kulak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Filipp Basalaev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the GaLaxy FC defense, Albert Kulak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filipp Basalaev. The GaLaxy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filipp Basalaev should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Chita's goal looked a bit too open when Vadim Leonidov came free, but Valeriy Nazarov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timur Kapustkin's late challenge caught a GaLaxy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timur Kapustkin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chita's Timur Kapustkin got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 83 played minutes GaLaxy FC got a freekick which was hit by Vadim Timofeev. Valeriy Nazarov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergey Pashenin, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. German Bukalov got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 88th match minute, Chita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Bukalov to maneuver through the defense. When Albert Kulak came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Chita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Kulak couldn't finish the play. After having played for 95 minutes, Albert Kulak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Kulak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chita had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
