If Vadim Delnov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Mark Sychev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanislav Lazarev was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Konstantin Miheev to strike the kick off in the second half. Maksim Fomin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Denis Lokk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Velikie Luki's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Murom the free kick. The supporters of Murom booed when Velikie Luki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matvey Rodionov didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Maksim Fomin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konstantin Miheev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Lokk having to interfere.
