The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Zulfikarov got free with Vitaliy Chernetsov in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matvey Aksenov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksey Soshin in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Vologda FC booed when МУРМАНСК was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elisey Atamanyuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, МУРМАНСК's Anton Zulfikarov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aleksey Soshin to make the kick off. When Anton Zulfikarov came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the МУРМАНСК fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Zulfikarov couldn't finish the play. When Modest Baburin fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vologda FC's protests and gave Modest Baburin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vologda FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Modest Baburin hit a great ball. Vitaliy Chernetsov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filimon Selivanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Klim Kolobov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes of play Vologda FC's Modest Baburin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 71st minute, Modest Baburin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When МУРМАНСК's Filimon Selivanov in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Oleg Samedov scored 2-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matvey Aksenov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute Filimon Selivanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitaliy Chernetsov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitaliy Chernetsov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filimon Selivanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in МУРМАНСК's zone, Oleg Samedov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matvey Aksenov came out of the goal and Oleg Samedov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Vologda FC booed when МУРМАНСК was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artem Fainburg didn't get a good kick on the ball. МУРМАНСК were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vologda FC for a fine match.
