Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aleksey Soshin started the match with the kick off. Vologda FC's Aleksey Soshin got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute Lavrentiy Alenichev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitaliy Chernetsov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Konstantin Kundurov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aleksey Soshin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rustam Farafontov having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Oleg Samedov made a precise shot to the right of Rustam Farafontov. Mezhdurechensk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Vitaliy Chernetsov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lavrentiy Alenichev, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 33 minutes, Nikita Shashkin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mezhdurechensk and the Vologda FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nikita Shashkin hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. With his leg Rustam Farafontov managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Vologda FC's Oleg Samedov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vologda FC's Aleksey Soshin got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oleg Samedov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rustam Farafontov having to interfere. Rustam Orekhov charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rustam Orekhov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mezhdurechensk booed when Vologda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rustam Orekhov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afanasiy Hodorovskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute, Konstantin Kundurov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Vologda FC's Rustam Farafontov threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aleksey Soshin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Konstantin Kundurov to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksey Soshin in the 63rd minute of play forced Mezhdurechensk's goalkeeper Rustam Farafontov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Vologda FC's Oleg Samedov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rustam Farafontov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Konstantin Kundurov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Aleksey Soshin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Lavrentiy Alenichev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Vologda FC's Vitaliy Chernetsov got control of the ball when Lavrentiy Alenichev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Konstantin Kundurov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitaliy Chernetsov having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, Vologda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergey Zaitsev to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vologda FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mezhdurechensk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
