After a rather tough play, Irkutsk FC's Venedikt Karishnev got a free kick in the 14th minute. Arseniy Nekrasov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Arseniy Nekrasov fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Irkutsk FC's Boris Balmasov got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Irkutsk FC's zone, Arseniy Nekrasov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anatoliy Baburov came out of the goal and Arseniy Nekrasov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute Arseniy Nekrasov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anatoliy Baburov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anatoliy Baburov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arseniy Nekrasov, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Arseniy Nekrasov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anatoliy Baburov having to interfere. A collision led to Kamensk-Uralsky getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Arseniy Nekrasov hit a great ball. If Arseniy Nekrasov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ilya Kupriyanovskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anatoliy Baburov having to interfere. Arseniy Nekrasov might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anatoliy Baburov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arseniy Nekrasov ran back to his position shaking his head. Anatoliy Baburov made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Ilya Kupriyanovskiy sent off a good shot on target. Ilya Kupriyanovskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Anatoliy Baburov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anatoliy Baburov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arseniy Nekrasov in the 46th minute of the match. After having played for 49 minutes, Ilya Kupriyanovskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kamensk-Uralsky's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilya Kupriyanovskiy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Konstantin Akhmatov to make the kick off. Kamensk-Uralsky's Viktor Blyakhin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anatoliy Baburov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Kamensk-Uralsky's Arseniy Nekrasov got a free kick in the 58th minute. Ilya Kupriyanovskiy scored 1-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anatoliy Baburov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Dmitriy Abramov fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Irkutsk FC's protests and gave Dmitriy Abramov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Dmitriy Abramov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute of the match Viktor Blyakhin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anatoliy Baburov skillfully saved the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Konstantin Akhmatov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Irkutsk FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kamensk-Uralsky the free kick. The supporters of Kamensk-Uralsky booed when Irkutsk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantin Akhmatov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anatoliy Baburov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilya Kupriyanovskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Venedikt Karishnev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Irkutsk FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kamensk-Uralsky the free kick. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Irkutsk FC! In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Kamensk-Uralsky. Viktor Blyakhin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anatoliy Baburov. 2-0. In the 79thth minute of the game Ilya Kupriyanovskiy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Irkutsk FC's Anatoliy Baburov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ilya Kupriyanovskiy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anatoliy Baburov was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Arseniy Nekrasov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Anatoliy Baburov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Irkutsk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ilya Kupriyanovskiy came free, but Anatoliy Baburov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilya Kupriyanovskiy in the 87th minute of play forced Irkutsk FC's goalkeeper Anatoliy Baburov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Kamensk-Uralsky's Ilya Kupriyanovskiy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anatoliy Baburov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Konstantin Akhmatov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boris Balmasov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artur Guschin having to make a save.
