Stanislav Kurts took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dmitriy Nizhinskiy. Dmitriy Nizhinskiy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Velikie Luki's Vladislav Fanagin got a free kick in the 15th minute. Roman Aniskin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktor Karlikov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute Aleksandr Fenyak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dmitriy Nizhinskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Velikie Luki's Aleksandr Fenyak in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 0msk FC's goalie prevented a goal. Aleksandr Fenyak in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dmitriy Nizhinskiy, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 26th minute, Velikie Luki's Vladimir Groshkov seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vladimir Groshkov the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Velikie Luki protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vladimir Groshkov had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Velikie Luki:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of 0msk FC:s goal. 33 minutes into the match, 0msk FC's goalkeeper Dmitriy Nizhinskiy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanislav Kurts. Vladislav Fanagin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dmitriy Nizhinskiy having to interfere. Stanislav Kurts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evgeniy Alekseev struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Dmitriy Nizhinskiy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Velikie Luki. 40 minutes into the match, 0msk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vladislav Fanagin came free, but Dmitriy Nizhinskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, 0msk FC's Dmitriy Nizhinskiy got control of the ball when Vladislav Fanagin tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Stanislav Kurts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in 0msk FC's zone, Stanislav Kurts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dmitriy Nizhinskiy came out of the goal and Stanislav Kurts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Velikie Luki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artem Saikov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th match minute, Velikie Luki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evgeniy Alekseev to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Roman Aniskin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viktor Karlikov. Velikie Luki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roman Aniskin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Stanislav Kurts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Stanislav Kurts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Semen Ionov took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dmitriy Nizhinskiy. Dmitriy Nizhinskiy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2.
