Filipp Emelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dmitriy Maksimov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ilya Koshelev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nizhny Novgorod's Ilya Koshelev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Nizhny Novgorod from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipp Emelin in the 16th minute of play forced Nizhny Novgorod's goalkeeper Ilya Koshelev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Dmitriy Maksimov notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Nizhny Novgorod's Ilya Koshelev. Ilya Koshelev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute, Filipp Emelin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When %teams%'s Filipp Emelin was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 3-0 just inside the left pole, 26 minutes into the game. Ilya Koshelev was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Pavel Rusakov hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Dmitriy Maksimov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dmitriy Maksimov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ilya Koshelev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipp Emelin in the 41st minute of play. Aleksandr Chigidin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksey Dyachkov having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Aleksandr Chigidin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nizhny Novgorod's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleksandr Chigidin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aleksey Dyachkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stanislav Shafirov hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

If Igor Dyachkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Semen Eremin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aleksey Dyachkov. Khabarovsk HC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dmitriy Maksimov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The audience was convinced that Igor Dyachkov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aleksey Dyachkov was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Ilya Koshelev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Khabarovsk HC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
