In the 3rd minute, Anton Arsenievich made a precise shot to the right of Mikhail Nosov. Makhachkala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After having played for 6 minutes, Anton Arsenievich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Arsenievich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aleksandr Koryavko to strike the kick off in the second half. Aleksandr Koryavko charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aleksandr Koryavko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aleksandr Koryavko hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Roman Gorskin had several of the Chita's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Rustam Kurmanov as he didn't even see the shot coming. After having played for 61 minutes, Aleksandr Koryavko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksandr Koryavko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Roman Gorskin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rustam Kurmanov, 1-3. In the 77th minute Anton Arsenievich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikhail Nosov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aleksandr Koryavko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mechislav Bochurov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Mikhail Nosov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aleksandr Koryavko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rustam Kurmanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Gorskin in the 90th minute of play. The Chita manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Makhachkala to win.
