The audience was convinced that Evdokim Chichagov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stanislav Beiman was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Локомотив's Ippolit Poltavskiy got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Evdokim Chichagov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Локомотив's supporters rose to their feet, but Evdokim Chichagov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanislav Beiman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maksim Ryabin hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Evdokim Chichagov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evdokim Chichagov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Izhevsk got a freekick which was hit by Maksim Ryabin. After a rather tough play, Izhevsk's Maksim Ryabin got a free kick in the 55th minute. A hard shot by Fedor Balbyshkin from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Stanislav Beiman's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Arseniy Kosinskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. The referee ignored Локомотив's protests and gave May Afonichev a yellow card for diving instead. May Afonichev hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Mikhail Barsukov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Izhevsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikhail Barsukov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Evdokim Chichagov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Viktor Istlenev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Локомотив's Fedor Balbyshkin got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Arseniy Kosinskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evdokim Chichagov in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stanislav Beiman saved Izhevsk from getting behind. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
