With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Gerasimov in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stanislav Beiman saved Izhevsk from getting behind. Valentin Gerasimov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stanislav Beiman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Gerasimov in the 34th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gennadiy Trushin got free with Stanislav Beiman in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gennadiy Trushin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Izhevsk's Stanislav Beiman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Izhevsk from getting a goal against them. Grigoriy Gorodetskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egor Gorodetskiy in the 94th minute of play. Rostislav Sorokin's late challenge caught a Izhevsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rostislav Sorokin helped the player get up and apologised. Arseniy Kosinskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigoriy Gorodetskiy having to interfere.
