Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Локомотив's Evdokim Chichagov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th minute Evdokim Chichagov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Netudyhatko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladivostok's Pavel Netudyhatko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Nikonov in the 16th minute of play. Pavel Netudyhatko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evdokim Chichagov in the 17th minute of the match. Vladivostok's Vladislav Zhelohovtsev got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Malakhov charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Malakhov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Локомотив getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Felix Malakhov hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Vladivostok's Denis Vostrikov got a free kick in the 28th minute. Vladislav Zhelohovtsev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arkadiy Dolin's late challenge caught a Vladivostok's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arkadiy Dolin helped the player get up and apologised. Karl Klochko struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Maksim Ikornikov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vladivostok. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl Klochko to strike the kick off in the second half. Локомотив's Maksim Ikornikov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladislav Zhelohovtsev in the 52nd minute of play. Pavel Netudyhatko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ippolit Poltavskiy in the 54th minute. Karl Klochko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 58 minutes, Vladislav Zhelohovtsev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vladivostok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladislav Zhelohovtsev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl Klochko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 71 minutes, Vladislav Zhelohovtsev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vladivostok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladislav Zhelohovtsev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Vladivostok's Silvestr Afanasenkov got a free kick in the 72nd minute. If Vladislav Zhelohovtsev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evdokim Chichagov struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Pavel Netudyhatko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Локомотив. In the 83rd minute, Vladivostok's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Evdokim Chichagov fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Aleksandr Shkrudnev charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aleksandr Shkrudnev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes Vladivostok got a freekick which was hit by Aleksandr Shkrudnev. Локомотив's Fedor Balbyshkin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 86th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pavel Netudyhatko but with some difficulty. Evdokim Chichagov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute, Ippolit Poltavskiy made a precise shot to the right of Pavel Netudyhatko. Vladivostok's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Vladivostok's Karl Klochko got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Локомотив:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vladivostok:s goal. Maksim Ikornikov had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Denis Vostrikov's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The Локомотив players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
