The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Efim Belov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Härmo Heinsalu went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 11 minutes into the match, Nizhny Tagil HC's Yaroslav Yarmak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vadim Denisov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Efim Belov made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Härmo Heinsalu sent off a good shot on target. Rostislav Semizorov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vadim Denisov. Krasnoyarsk FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Härmo Heinsalu struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Efim Belov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Krasnoyarsk FC. Härmo Heinsalu might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Efim Belov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Härmo Heinsalu ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, Krasnoyarsk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yaroslav Yarmak came free, but Vadim Denisov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nizhny Tagil HC's Timur Bolshakov got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 43 played minutes, Krasnoyarsk FC's Andrey Raskolnikov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Efim Belov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Krasnoyarsk FC reached it. Vadim Denisov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stepan Ermakov in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Yaroslav Yarmak made the kick off in the second half. Vadim Denisov made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Stepan Ermakov sent off a good shot on target. Efim Belov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeo Tab's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Härmo Heinsalu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Härmo Heinsalu in the 73rd minute of play forced Nizhny Tagil HC's goalkeeper Efim Belov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Krasnoyarsk FC's Romeo Tab in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nizhny Tagil HC's goalie prevented a goal. Stepan Ermakov's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. In the 87th minute Romeo Tab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efim Belov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romeo Tab in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efim Belov saved Nizhny Tagil HC from getting behind. There was no doubt that Krasnoyarsk FC were the better team. Krasnoyarsk FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
