Noginsk HC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roman Yanushevskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksey Voronov in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Stepan Isakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Yanushevskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Mishin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Irkutsk HC's Mitrofan Abramov got a free kick in the 17th minute. Roman Mishin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Irkutsk HC's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksey Voronov came free, but Roman Yanushevskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lev Magnushevskiy during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Irkutsk HC's Roman Yanushevskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Mishin in the 35th minute of play. Roman Yanushevskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksey Voronov, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Roman Mishin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Roman Yanushevskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aleksey Voronov took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Yanushevskiy. Roman Yanushevskiy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rasul Ignatiev made a kick off. A collision led to Noginsk HC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Lev Magnushevskiy hit a great ball. Irkutsk HC's Rasul Ignatiev got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Noginsk HC's goal looked a bit too open when Mitrofan Abramov came free, but Gerasim Pomortsev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Yanushevskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksey Voronov in the 58th minute of the match. Roman Mishin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Yanushevskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksey Voronov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, German Kostin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Noginsk HC's Gerasim Pomortsev. Gerasim Pomortsev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th match minute, Noginsk HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Garkotin to maneuver through the defense. Gerasim Pomortsev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rasul Ignatiev's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Roman Mishin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noginsk HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Mishin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Noginsk HC's goalkeeper Gerasim Pomortsev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Noginsk HC's Roman Mishin got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roman Mishin might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Yanushevskiy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roman Mishin ran back to his position shaking his head. Roman Yanushevskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksey Voronov in the 86th minute of the match.
