Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vladimir Malkin started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Oleg Bolotov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artem Kazakov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Vladimir Budnevich hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Grigoriy Rudenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiy Aleksandrov having to interfere. German Lidorenko's late challenge caught a Nefteyugansk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Lidorenko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, German Lidorenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis But sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimir Ignatiev kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Nefteyugansk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikita Korotaev to maneuver through the defense. After 30 minutes, Denis But made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nefteyugansk's Arkadiy Aleksandrov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the game, Grigoriy Rudenko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Arkadiy Aleksandrov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oleg Bolotov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Artem Kazakov made a huge save. In the 44thth minute of the game Denis But who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nefteyugansk's Arkadiy Aleksandrov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th minute Grigoriy Rudenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiy Aleksandrov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arkadiy Aleksandrov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis But, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis But made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonid Bentovin during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Novocheboksarsk FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonid Bentovin. Oleg Bolotov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artem Kazakov having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigoriy Rudenko got free with Arkadiy Aleksandrov in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nefteyugansk:s Arkadiy Aleksandrov showed great skill when he stopped Aleksandr Odintsov:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Nefteyugansk's Vladlen Uvarov got a free kick in the 77th minute. Novocheboksarsk FC's Artem Kazakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oleg Bolotov in the 80th minute of play. When Denis But came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Novocheboksarsk FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis But couldn't finish the play. Oleg Bolotov scored 2-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artem Kazakov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Novocheboksarsk FC's Denis But slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arkadiy Aleksandrov. That made the score 2-3 after 88 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nefteyugansk's zone, Denis But stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arkadiy Aleksandrov came out of the goal and Denis But tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigoriy Rudenko got free with Arkadiy Aleksandrov in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Novocheboksarsk FC played a much better game than Nefteyugansk and deserved their victory. The Nefteyugansk players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
