Stary Oskol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ФК Артем the free kick. After a rather tough play, Stary Oskol's Nestor Haryuchi got a free kick in the 5th minute. Aleksey Gordyushin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Viktor Semeiko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 8th minute Arseniy Drozdov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Islakaev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleksey Gordyushin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in ФК Артем fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Vyacheslav Belakovskiy charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vyacheslav Belakovskiy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Stary Oskol getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Vyacheslav Belakovskiy hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute Eduard Letik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Semeiko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Stary Oskol's Viktor Semeiko got control of the ball when Aleksey Gordyushin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Foma Averchenko kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Bogdan Lemeshev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Artur Islakaev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute of the match Vyacheslav Belakovskiy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artur Islakaev skillfully saved the ball. Bogdan Lemeshev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Islakaev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Stary Oskol's zone, Aleksey Gordyushin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Semeiko came out of the goal and Aleksey Gordyushin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bogdan Lemeshev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Islakaev having to interfere. After the first half Stary Oskol were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Bogdan Lemeshev made the kick off in the second half. Foma Averchenko kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Aleksey Gordyushin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ФК Артем's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksey Gordyushin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ФК Артем! Vyacheslav Belakovskiy scored 1-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artur Islakaev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nestor Haryuchi kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Stary Oskol getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Nestor Haryuchi hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Aleksey Gordyushin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viktor Semeiko was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in ФК Артем's zone, Arseniy Drozdov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Islakaev came out of the goal and Arseniy Drozdov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bogdan Lemeshev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Islakaev having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Bogdan Lemeshev fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Artur Islakaev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Lemeshev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 80 minutes, Bogdan Lemeshev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stary Oskol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogdan Lemeshev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Lemeshev in the 85th minute of play forced ФК Артем's goalkeeper Artur Islakaev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Bogdan Lemeshev fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 97 minutes into the match, Stary Oskol's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Letik came free, but Viktor Semeiko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
