The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dmitriy Vinogradov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rubin NK's zone, Alfred Shalygin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasiliy Bannikov came out of the goal and Alfred Shalygin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vasiliy Bannikov didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Novorossiysk FC's Kim Knyazev shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Anton Bugachevskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dmitriy Vinogradov having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Boris Chonin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rubin NK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boris Chonin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rubin NK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valeriy Goridko in the 24th minute. Gleb Mochalkin thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Dmitriy Vinogradov, a very annoying self made goal in the 25th minute which led to 1-1. Dmitriy Vinogradov was a little too slow when Anton Bugachevskiy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-1. After having played for 36 minutes, Alfred Shalygin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Novorossiysk FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Shalygin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kim Knyazev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Boris Chonin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dmitriy Vinogradov. That made the score 3-1 in the 45 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Anton Bugachevskiy made the kick off in the second half. When Anton Vorontsov came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Rubin NK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Vorontsov couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Novorossiysk FC's zone, Anton Bugachevskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dmitriy Vinogradov came out of the goal and Anton Bugachevskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Anton Bugachevskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boris Chonin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dmitriy Vinogradov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Vorontsov in the 79th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rubin NK's zone, Alfred Shalygin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasiliy Bannikov came out of the goal and Alfred Shalygin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vasiliy Bannikov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Shalygin, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Kim Knyazev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Vasiliy Bannikov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alfred Shalygin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Rubin NK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
