Oleg Erdneev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Gerasim Alekseev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Tolyatti FC booed when Norilsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladislav Krymin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tolyatti FC's Sergey Kudryavtsev got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Norilsk's goalkeeper Gerasim Alekseev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oleg Erdneev. In the 14th match minute, Norilsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filimon Golovachev to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Danila Drozdov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrey Dolgachev hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Gerasim Alekseev made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Oleg Erdneev sent off a good shot on target. Sergey Kudryavtsev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Tolyatti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filimon Golovachev came free, but Vsevolod Nesterov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filimon Golovachev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Norilsk's zone, Oleg Erdneev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerasim Alekseev came out of the goal and Oleg Erdneev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladislav Krymin kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Timofey Komarov, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sergey Kudryavtsev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Oleg Erdneev came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Tolyatti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oleg Erdneev couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Tolyatti FC's Timofey Komarov broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tolyatti FC's goalkeeper Vsevolod Nesterov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Oleg Erdneev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerasim Alekseev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oleg Erdneev in the 76th minute of play. Filimon Golovachev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vsevolod Nesterov having to interfere. The Tolyatti FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
