After 3 minutes, David Simonyan made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tolyatti FC's Vsevolod Nesterov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 13 played minutes Kazan FC got a freekick which was hit by Vsevolod Guretskiy. 14 minutes into the match, Tolyatti FC's Timofey Komarov broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Dmitriy Lobanovskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergey Kudryavtsev in the 16th minute of the match. David Simonyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Vsevolod Nesterov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tolyatti FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Stanislav Kvitnitskiy hit a great ball. Vsevolod Nesterov didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Kazan FC's David Simonyan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Gennadiy Haritonov hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Yuvenaliy Konovalov succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 39th playminute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Simonyan in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vsevolod Nesterov saved Tolyatti FC from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Kazan FC's Dmitriy Lobanovskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergey Kudryavtsev in the 53rd minute of play. Afanasiy Gavrilov hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Oleg Erdneev might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dmitriy Lobanovskiy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oleg Erdneev ran back to his position shaking his head. Dmitriy Lobanovskiy made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Oleg Erdneev sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute of the match Kazan FC got a corner. Tolyatti FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roman Abalkin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Kazan FC's corner Roman Abalkin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vsevolod Nesterov quite easily take care of the ball. Dmitriy Lobanovskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergey Kudryavtsev, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Konstantin Kukulevich kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, David Simonyan put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vsevolod Nesterov. After a defensive mix-up in Kazan FC's zone, Oleg Erdneev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dmitriy Lobanovskiy came out of the goal and Oleg Erdneev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Yuvenaliy Konovalov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vsevolod Nesterov was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Kazan FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tolyatti FC for a fine match.
