Ivan Vinogradov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maksim Seliverstov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vsevolod Nesterov having to interfere. In the 15th minute of the match Ruslan Kalashnikov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vsevolod Nesterov skillfully saved the ball. Roman Saburov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergey Kudryavtsev, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Veniamin Lytkin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roman Saburov skillfully saved the ball. If Maksim Seliverstov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Sergey Kudryavtsev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vsevolod Nesterov was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Maksim Seliverstov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maksim Seliverstov really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 31stth minute of the game Maksim Seliverstov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tolyatti FC's Vsevolod Nesterov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Balakovo's goal looked a bit too open when Sergey Kudryavtsev came free, but Roman Saburov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maksim Seliverstov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balakovo's Roman Saburov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oleg Erdneev in the 37th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maksim Seliverstov to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Maksim Seliverstov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vsevolod Nesterov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Maksim Seliverstov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vsevolod Nesterov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maksim Seliverstov in the 65th minute of play. If Maksim Seliverstov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maksim Seliverstov in the 74th minute of play forced Tolyatti FC's goalkeeper Vsevolod Nesterov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Oleg Erdneev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artem Chernov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Vsevolod Nesterov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Balakovo had played much better football throughout.
