Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viktor Gandilov in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lev Lichkun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aleksey Lapin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lev Lichkun. Volzhsky's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Volzhsky's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Afinogenov came free, but Lev Lichkun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lev Lichkun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Artemiy Grishunin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Fedor Ganin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Klim Britaev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedor Ganin having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Viktor Gandilov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Viktor Gandilov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tolyatti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Viktor Afinogenov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lev Lichkun having to interfere. Tolyatti's Viktor Gandilov got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viktor Gandilov in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lev Lichkun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Volzhsky's Modest Loginov got a free kick in the 31st minute. Viktor Afinogenov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viktor Gandilov in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lev Lichkun saved Volzhsky from getting behind. Viktor Afinogenov struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Lev Lichkun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tolyatti. Lev Lichkun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Gandilov, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Viktor Gandilov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Volzhsky's Lev Lichkun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Klim Britaev to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Tolyatti's Nikolay Borisenko made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lev Lichkun was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Volzhsky's Klim Britaev got a free kick in the 59th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Volzhsky's goalkeeper Lev Lichkun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viktor Gandilov. Pavel Goldovskiy hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Klim Britaev might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fedor Ganin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Klim Britaev ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nikolay Borisenko during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nikolay Borisenko kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Volzhsky's Lev Lichkun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Volzhsky from getting a goal against them. Viktor Gandilov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Lev Lichkun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viktor Afinogenov might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lev Lichkun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viktor Afinogenov ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Volzhsky's Lev Lichkun got control of the ball when Viktor Gandilov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Viktor Afinogenov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lev Lichkun. The goal made the score 0-3. Lev Lichkun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viktor Gandilov went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. When the match was over Tolyatti could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Volzhsky throughout the match.
