Lada's Sergey Lemeshko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vadim Pechorin in the 15th minute of play. With his leg Sergey Lemeshko managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when PFC RASSVET's Anton Saprykin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Igor Omelchenko managed to get in a good position for a shot. PFC RASSVET's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Omelchenko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergey Lemeshko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Igor Omelchenko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Sergey Lemeshko made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Saprykin got free with Sergey Lemeshko in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, PFC RASSVET's Sergey Lemeshko threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vadim Pechorin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Irakliy Sennikov kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Anton Saprykin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergey Lemeshko having to interfere. In the 27th minute Vadim Pechorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergey Lemeshko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lada's Sergey Lemeshko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Knyazev in the 40th minute of play. Sergey Lemeshko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anton Saprykin in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Lada getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Stepan Korablev hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maksim Zimyanin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sergey Lemeshko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vadim Pechorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Lada's Stepan Korablev got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Sergey Lemeshko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vadim Pechorin in the 89th minute of play. Sergey Lemeshko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vadim Pechorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If Aleksandr Bulgakovskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PFC RASSVET's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
