Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lazar Lyubavin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rostov-on-Don FC's Egor Pestov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afanasiy Shikalenko in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rostov-on-Don FC's Dmitriy Voikov got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 7thth minute of the game Rudolf Guschin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kazan HC's Lazar Neprimerov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lazar Lyubavin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Lazar Neprimerov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudolf Guschin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Afanasiy Shikalenko sped through Rostov-on-Don FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Egor Pestov. Vladimir Gluhovtsov kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Guschin in the 17th minute of play forced Kazan HC's goalkeeper Lazar Neprimerov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Afanasiy Shikalenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egor Pestov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lev Belopolskiy came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Kazan HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lev Belopolskiy couldn't finish the play. Afanasiy Shikalenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Egor Pestov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Kazan HC's goal looked a bit too open when Lazar Lyubavin came free, but Lazar Neprimerov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Lazar Lyubavin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Egor Pestov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lev Belopolskiy in the 40th minute. Rostov-on-Don FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Afanasiy Shikalenko scored to the left of an out of position Egor Pestov, making the score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Afanasiy Shikalenko made the kick off in the second half. If Lev Belopolskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lazar Lyubavin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Andrey Korablev fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rostov-on-Don FC's protests and gave Andrey Korablev a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Rostov-on-Don FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrey Korablev. Egor Pestov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afanasiy Shikalenko in the 71st minute of the match. When Andrey Korablev was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. Afanasiy Shikalenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Kazan HC's goalkeeper Lazar Neprimerov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolf Guschin. If Rudolf Guschin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 played minutes Rostov-on-Don FC got a freekick which was hit by Konstantin Izyaev. Afanasiy Shikalenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Egor Pestov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lev Belopolskiy in the 92nd minute of play forced Rostov-on-Don FC's goalkeeper Egor Pestov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lev Belopolskiy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egor Pestov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
