Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vladimir Baskov got the match started through his kick off. Timur Saigin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksey Chervonnyi having to interfere. Dmitriy Agafonnikov struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Sergey Isakov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Smena. With a little luck, Novokuybyshevsk FC's Sergey Isakov got control of the ball when Dmitriy Agafonnikov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Novokuybyshevsk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Belousov to maneuver through the defense. After 19 minutes, Vsevolod Grishpun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smena and the Novokuybyshevsk FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Smena got a freekick which was hit by Vsevolod Grishpun. The Smena fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Smena's Dmitriy Agafonnikov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 27thth minute of the game Artur Hripushin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Smena's Aleksey Chervonnyi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aleksey Chervonnyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Belousov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Boris Koldunenko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Novokuybyshevsk FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smena the free kick. Sergey Isakov was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sergey Medvedev. Vladimir Baskov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timur Saigin made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Timur Saigin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksey Chervonnyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Vladimir Baskov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergey Isakov. Novokuybyshevsk FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladimir Baskov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Artur Hripushin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Smena booed when Novokuybyshevsk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Koldunenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dmitriy Agafonnikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Sergey Isakov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Baskov in the 66th minute of play forced Novokuybyshevsk FC's goalkeeper Sergey Isakov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Smena's Vladimir Baskov made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergey Isakov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vladimir Baskov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Novokuybyshevsk FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timur Saigin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Smena walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
