Kirill Luzhkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Varlam Afanasenkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Varlam Afanasenkov came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Dzerzhinsk FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Varlam Afanasenkov couldn't finish the play. Gleb Pakhomov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirill Luzhkov having to interfere. Kirill Luzhkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gleb Pakhomov in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gleb Pakhomov in the 28th minute of play forced TOMSK's goalkeeper Kirill Luzhkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Dzerzhinsk FC's Gleb Pakhomov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kirill Luzhkov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Klim Borisov struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Andrey Ishkin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TOMSK. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Varlam Afanasenkov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Dzerzhinsk FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of TOMSK:s goal. Andrey Ishkin had in the 58thth minute some difficulties stopping Ernest Alekseev's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 59 minutes, Leonid Vasiliev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TOMSK and the Dzerzhinsk FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, TOMSK's Leonid Vasiliev got a free kick in the 60th minute. Kirill Luzhkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Varlam Afanasenkov in the 62nd minute of the match. Gleb Pakhomov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrey Ishkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danila Fomenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Konstantin Kerzhakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of TOMSK booed when Dzerzhinsk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladislav Blokhin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dzerzhinsk FC's Andrey Ishkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Alekseev in the 81st minute of play. Varlam Afanasenkov struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Kirill Luzhkov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dzerzhinsk FC. Varlam Afanasenkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. TOMSK had won after a very even match.
