Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Filimon Naumov kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute of the match, Artur Druz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nikita Olshanskiy saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Filimon Naumov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Firsov having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Voronezh's Nikolay Steklov got a free kick in the 9th minute. Artur Druz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikita Olshanskiy having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Mikhail Buznikin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Voronezh's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikhail Buznikin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikita Olshanskiy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Voronezh's zone, Filimon Naumov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. German Firsov came out of the goal and Filimon Naumov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 minutes of play, Voronezh's Mikhail Buznikin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikita Olshanskiy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mikhail Buznikin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur Druz in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikita Olshanskiy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Artur Druz came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Voronezh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Druz couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Voronezh booed when Shahty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasiliy Adamov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Shahty's goalkeeper Nikita Olshanskiy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikhail Buznikin. Mikhail Buznikin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nikita Olshanskiy having to make a save. Artur Druz might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikita Olshanskiy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artur Druz ran back to his position shaking his head. 50 minutes into the match, Shahty's goalkeeper Nikita Olshanskiy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Druz. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artur Druz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Timur Plyasov fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Voronezh's protests and gave Timur Plyasov a yellow card for diving instead. Timur Plyasov kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Roman Kulakov came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and German Firsov could save by the left post. When Artur Druz came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Voronezh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Druz couldn't finish the play. Voronezh's German Firsov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filimon Naumov in the 63rd minute of play. If Artur Druz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Filimon Naumov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of German Firsov. Filimon Naumov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 74thth minute of the game Artur Druz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shahty's Nikita Olshanskiy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikhail Buznikin in the 75th minute of play forced Shahty's goalkeeper Nikita Olshanskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filimon Naumov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, Dmitriy Ivakin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Voronezh's German Firsov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filimon Naumov in the 82nd minute of play. Nikita Olshanskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikhail Buznikin in the 83rd minute of play. Filimon Naumov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but German Firsov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Nikita Olshanskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikhail Buznikin in the 93rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernest Voschevoz got free with German Firsov in the 100th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
