Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Moscow FC's Andrey Sultanov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dmitriy Yurchishin in the 8th minute of play forced Moscow FC's goalkeeper Filipp Gilmutdinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrey Sultanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipp Gilmutdinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dmitriy Yurchishin in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Torpedo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Grigoriy Gribanov fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Dmitriy Yurchishin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Torpedo's Maksim Kolesnikov got control of the ball when Grigoriy Gribanov tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dmitriy Yurchishin in the 22nd minute of play forced Moscow FC's goalkeeper Filipp Gilmutdinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filipp Gilmutdinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Fedorov in the 24th minute of play. Filipp Gilmutdinov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dmitriy Yurchishin, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Torpedo's Maksim Kolesnikov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrey Sultanov in the 27th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Moscow FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrey Sultanov. Grigoriy Gribanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When German Fedorov came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Torpedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Fedorov couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Dmitriy Yurchishin made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Grigoriy Gribanov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moscow FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Grigoriy Gribanov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maksim Kolesnikov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torpedo's Maksim Kolesnikov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigoriy Gribanov in the 55th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Moscow FC's Andrey Sultanov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maksim Kolesnikov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Andrey Sultanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Torpedo's zone, Andrey Sultanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maksim Kolesnikov came out of the goal and Andrey Sultanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 76 played minutes Torpedo got a freekick which was hit by Oleg Kasprzhak. After 81 minutes, Vyacheslav Landau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torpedo and the Moscow FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 83 minutes into the game, Grigoriy Gribanov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Maksim Kolesnikov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Grigoriy Shamakhov fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moscow FC's protests and gave Grigoriy Shamakhov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Grigoriy Shamakhov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moscow FC's goalkeeper Filipp Gilmutdinov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maksim Kolesnikov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrey Sultanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipp Gilmutdinov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dmitriy Yurchishin, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Torpedo booed when Moscow FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrey Sultanov didn't get a good kick on the ball.
