Barnaul's Ivan Denisov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timur Tsyrenov in the 88th minute of play. Andrey Adzhubey scored 0-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Denisov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ulan-Ude eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
