The ball had pretty good speed, but Roman Maimistov firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 11th minute, Maksim Sekerzhinskiy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Koryshev was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Roman Koryshev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantin Blatun in the 15th minute of the match. Ruslan Ptichkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Roman Maimistov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Danil Kuznetsov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Petrozavodsk FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Purple the Sails the free kick. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 1-2 became the score in the 30th minute when Ruslan Ptichkin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantin Blatun in the 36th minute of play forced Purple the Sails's goalkeeper Roman Koryshev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Vsevolod Belyaev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Purple the Sails's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Petrozavodsk FC the free kick. Vsevolod Belyaev kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Konstantin Blatun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

If Genrikh Fadeev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Petrozavodsk FC's zone, Ruslan Ptichkin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Maimistov came out of the goal and Ruslan Ptichkin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Konstantin Blatun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Konstantin Blatun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Koryshev having to interfere. Roman Maimistov came out of the goal and Genrikh Fadeev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Maksim Sekerzhinskiy could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Roman Koryshev however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Petrozavodsk FC's Danil Kuznetsov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roman Koryshev. That made the score 1-3 after 80 minutes of play. Maksim Sekerzhinskiy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Roman Koryshev made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Petrozavodsk FC's zone, Genrikh Fadeev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Maimistov came out of the goal and Genrikh Fadeev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Purple the Sails's Roman Koryshev got control of the ball when Maksim Sekerzhinskiy tried to sneak it across the goal line.
