With an extended leg and a bit of luck Efim Voinakhovskiy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ussuriysk's Efim Voinakhovskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Bobynin in the 6th minute of play. Egor Alekperov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filipp Yavorovich in the 10th minute. If Artur Bulanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Bulanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Egor Alekperov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Ukhta HC's Oleg Kashkov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Efim Voinakhovskiy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd match minute, Ukhta HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danila Panov to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Varfolomey Anisimov from long distance, 23 minutes into the match, got Egor Alekperov's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 24th minute Eduard Bobynin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efim Voinakhovskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ussuriysk's Filipp Yavorovich got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Filipp Yavorovich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ussuriysk's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipp Yavorovich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egor Alekperov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egor Alekperov was a little too slow when Artur Bulanov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-1. Filipp Yavorovich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Bulanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Egor Alekperov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Artur Bulanov to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Artemiy Udachin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Egor Alekperov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Oleg Kashkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Efim Voinakhovskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ussuriysk were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
