In the 10th minute, Daniil Godin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Gordeychuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergey Sysuev, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Aleksandr Shambazov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pskov's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleksandr Shambazov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Gordeychuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniil Fialkovskiy in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Gordeychuk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nizhnekamsk FC! Arnold Dragin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Gordeychuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniil Fialkovskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Pskov's Artem Babichev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuvenaliy Starozhilov in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Nizhnekamsk FC's goalkeeper Roman Gordeychuk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniil Fialkovskiy. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Konstantin Kirillov during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Nizhnekamsk FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Konstantin Kirillov hit a great ball. With a little luck, Nizhnekamsk FC's Roman Gordeychuk got control of the ball when Daniil Fialkovskiy tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Pskov booed when Nizhnekamsk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. May Mostovoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Sergey Sysuev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pskov's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergey Sysuev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Gordeychuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nizhnekamsk FC's goalkeeper Roman Gordeychuk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Nizhnekamsk FC's Valentin Malafeev got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Arnold Dragin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Artem Veretennikov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nizhnekamsk FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artem Veretennikov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Artem Veretennikov came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Nizhnekamsk FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artem Veretennikov couldn't finish the play. Artem Veretennikov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artem Babichev having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pskov had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
