Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the match, Fortuna FC's goalkeeper Viktor Derevyanko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zahar Grekov. Viktor Derevyanko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikolay Kulikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Viktor Derevyanko came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Surgut's Nikolay Kulikov. But to his dismay, Nikolay Kulikov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Zahar Grekov struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Viktor Derevyanko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Surgut. Zahar Grekov's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Viktor Derevyanko firmly grabbed it by the left post. Viktor Derevyanko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oleg Lovkov in the 19th minute of play. Anatoliy Tagirov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Vladimir Silin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zahar Grekov made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 23rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Viktor Derevyanko would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Anatoliy Tagirov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fortuna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anatoliy Tagirov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimir Silin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnold Zorin kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Oleg Lovkov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Viktor Derevyanko. Oleg Lovkov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Zahar Grekov could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Viktor Derevyanko however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oleg Lovkov in the 40th minute of play forced Fortuna FC's goalkeeper Viktor Derevyanko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Anatoliy Tagirov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Silin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oleg Lovkov was the one to do the kick off. Viktor Derevyanko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zahar Grekov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute Nikolay Kulikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Derevyanko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Petr Saganovich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Zahar Grekov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viktor Derevyanko. Fortuna FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zahar Grekov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Zahar Grekov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anatoliy Tagirov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Surgut getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Anton Komendant hit a great ball. When Anatoliy Tagirov came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Fortuna FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anatoliy Tagirov couldn't finish the play. In the 85th match minute, Fortuna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petr Saganovich to maneuver through the defense. Zahar Grekov charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zahar Grekov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Surgut getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Zahar Grekov hit a great ball. Oleg Lovkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Derevyanko having to interfere. Vladimir Silin made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Anatoliy Tagirov sent off a good shot on target. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Surgut had played much better football throughout.
