When Artem Gavrilyuk came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Vologda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artem Gavrilyuk couldn't finish the play. Sergey Hlestov succeeded in the game's 6th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 8th minute of the match, Sergey Hlestov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yuriy Dreval saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Yuriy Dreval successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artem Gavrilyuk got free with Yuriy Dreval in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sergey Hlestov struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Yuriy Dreval didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vologda. Yuriy Dreval took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergey Hlestov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Ruben Luchkovskiy took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Yuriy Dreval to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Sergey Hlestov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yuriy Dreval. That made the score 3-0 in the 32 minute of play. Rustam Barsegov fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 38th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. With a little luck, Zhukovsky's Yuriy Dreval got control of the ball when Artem Gavrilyuk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sergey Hlestov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Artem Gavrilyuk made a precise shot to the right of Yuriy Dreval. Zhukovsky's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Yuriy Dreval made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergey Hlestov in the 46th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sergey Hlestov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yuriy Dreval was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timur Bystrov to make the kick off. Yuriy Dreval showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergey Hlestov, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Yuriy Dreval took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergey Hlestov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Zhukovsky defense, Sergey Hlestov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yuriy Dreval. The Zhukovsky fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yuriy Dreval should have stopped the shot. Vologda's Artem Gavrilyuk got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Zhukovsky's goal looked a bit too open when Sergey Hlestov came free, but Yuriy Dreval reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rustam Barsegov fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zhukovsky's protests and gave Rustam Barsegov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Zhukovsky getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Rustam Barsegov hit a great ball. Artem Gavrilyuk took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yuriy Dreval. Yuriy Dreval dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 79 minutes into the match, Vologda's Sergey Hlestov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yuriy Dreval narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81stth minute of the game Artem Gavrilyuk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zhukovsky's Yuriy Dreval was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yuriy Dreval showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergey Hlestov, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute.
