With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Baranov in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stepan Shilov saved Abakan FC from getting behind. Stepan Shilov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vasiliy Kashirin went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Rustam Kirzhnits kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Nestor Baranov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Pavel Gromov's late challenge caught a Arkhangelsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nestor Baranov was the one to do the kick off. Stepan Shilov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasiliy Kashirin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Vasiliy Kashirin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Arkhangelsk's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
