Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Yuriy Tyulenev fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Volzhsky FC's protests and gave Yuriy Tyulenev a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Yuriy Tyulenev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emmanuil Smolkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC CSKA booed when Volzhsky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuriy Tyulenev didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, FC CSKA's goal looked a bit too open when Afanasiy Zaroschinskiy came free, but Anatoliy Aguzarov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC CSKA's zone, Afanasiy Zaroschinskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anatoliy Aguzarov came out of the goal and Afanasiy Zaroschinskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonid Fashutdinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anatoliy Aguzarov having to interfere. Anatoliy Aguzarov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonid Fashutdinov in the 21st minute of the match. When Leonid Fashutdinov came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Volzhsky FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonid Fashutdinov couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuil Smolkin in the 28th minute of play forced Volzhsky FC's goalkeeper Vyacheslav Gorshkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC CSKA's Arseniy Glebov shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vyacheslav Gorshkov but with some difficulty. 37 minutes into the match, FC CSKA's goal looked a bit too open when Leonid Fashutdinov came free, but Anatoliy Aguzarov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Volzhsky FC's Leonid Fashutdinov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anatoliy Aguzarov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vladislav Arteev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonid Fashutdinov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Arseniy Glebov fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC CSKA's protests and gave Arseniy Glebov a yellow card for diving instead. 55 minutes into the game, one of FC CSKA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Anatoliy Aguzarov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonid Fashutdinov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vyacheslav Gorshkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladislav Arteev, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Volzhsky FC's Afanasiy Zaroschinskiy got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Volzhsky FC's Leonid Fashutdinov managed to work through FC CSKA's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Leonid Fashutdinov dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Afanasiy Zaroschinskiy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC CSKA getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Vladimir Bubnov hit a great ball. In the 71stth minute of the game Leonid Fashutdinov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC CSKA's Anatoliy Aguzarov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonid Fashutdinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anatoliy Aguzarov having to interfere. Emmanuil Smolkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vyacheslav Gorshkov having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, FC CSKA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Bubnov to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Afanasiy Zaroschinskiy could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Anatoliy Aguzarov however easily saved by the left post. When Volzhsky FC's Leonid Fashutdinov, in the 84th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Volzhsky FC. Vyacheslav Gorshkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmanuil Smolkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Volzhsky FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
