Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valentin Kazakov kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Stavropol FC defense, Valeriy Samgin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikanor Starostin. The Stavropol FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikanor Starostin should have stopped the shot. Aleksey Chernenko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nikanor Starostin having to make a save. Aleksey Chernenko scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikanor Starostin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stavropol FC's Filimon Govorov got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Kirov getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Oleg Ignatiev hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Stavropol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gennadiy Novgorodtsev came free, but Nikanor Starostin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniil Haritonenko during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Kirov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniil Haritonenko to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gennadiy Novgorodtsev in the 39th minute of play forced Stavropol FC's goalkeeper Nikanor Starostin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Semen Lobanov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stavropol FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kirov the free kick. Aleksey Chernenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gennadiy Novgorodtsev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Filimon Govorov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Kolyshkin having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grigoriy Teterin during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Grigoriy Teterin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gennadiy Novgorodtsev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Nikanor Starostin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Gennadiy Novgorodtsev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nikanor Starostin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gennadiy Novgorodtsev in the 68th minute of the match. Stavropol FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Gennadiy Novgorodtsev scored to the left of an out of position Nikanor Starostin, making the score, 0-4. In the 74thth minute of the game Gennadiy Novgorodtsev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stavropol FC's Nikanor Starostin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aleksey Chernenko got free with Nikanor Starostin in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute, one of Stavropol FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Stavropol FC. After 94 played minutes Stavropol FC got a freekick which was hit by Grigoriy Teterin. Nikanor Starostin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniil Haritonenko in the 98th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Kirov left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Stavropol FC.
