FC Zelenogrash's Oleg Buzlanov got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rudolf Bystrov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Lev Shtempel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilya Suhotskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Pervouralsk HC's goalkeeper Lev Shtempel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oleg Buzlanov. Taras Smolkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasiliy Simutenkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Roman Osipov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lev Shtempel having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Zelenogrash's zone, Gleb Parshev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taras Smolkin came out of the goal and Gleb Parshev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gleb Parshev struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Taras Smolkin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pervouralsk HC.

The wind increased when Oleg Buzlanov made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, FC Zelenogrash's Grigoriy Gabrilovich seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Grigoriy Gabrilovich the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Zelenogrash protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Grigoriy Gabrilovich had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Zelenogrash fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! Pervouralsk HC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rudolf Bystrov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Lev Shtempel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Bystrov, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pervouralsk HC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
